About me

Hi, I'm Eniola.

Eniola Ajayi-Bembe

I started in microbiology. Today, I work in product. My approach is to lead with clarity, from writing detailed specs, managing roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, to development, and shipping confidently to millions of users. I bring a rare blend of product management depth, customer success experience, QA discipline, and UX design that allows me to collaborate closely and efficiently with designers and engineers while keeping the customer experience at the centre of every decision.

I started my career in customer success and product design, learning firsthand how to empathise and be the voice of customers, understand their pain points and translate those insights into meaningful and innovative product experiences. From user interviews, user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity designs, I always focus on building solutions that solved real problems in intuitive ways.

When I review a product, I see it the way a user does. I notice the misaligned buttons, the unclear interaction states, the flow that almost works but introduces friction at other points.

I identify gaps and note opportunities to improve usability, product quality, and process, then document them clearly for design and engineering teams to execute effectively. I later moved into product leadership at PocketApp, helping scale the product from an idea into a business serving over 2.5 million users. Over six years, I owned and improved processes across product strategy, execution, customer experience, and product quality. Working with a team to run a high-growth fintech product at scale taught me that quality is not just a stage in development, it's a mindset embedded into every release, workflow, and decision.

I ask thoughtful questions and stay driven by finding the right answers that improve systems, strengthen experiences, and create products that solve meaningful problems for real people. My background spans product management, product design, QA, customer success, and content development. I'm currently based in Lagos and work fully remotely.

If you're building a product team that values thoughtful execution, customer empathy, and the ability to balance business goals with user needs, we should talk.

"My strength is a rare combination of product judgment, QA discipline, design fluency, and deep customer empathy. This blend is what allows me to build and ship products that launch fast, solve problems, and hold up under real-world use."

My true north is discovering innovative solutions to real-world challenges and creating meaningful impact through thoughtful, exceptional products.

I'm also good at:

  • Owning product end-to-end, spec to launch
  • Writing test plans from messy specs
  • Catching the bug nobody else saw
  • Calm triage with engineering under deadline
  • Cross-platform thinking (iOS, Android, web)
  • Making designers' jobs easier, not harder
  • Turning user research into actual roadmap moves

My off the clock interests:

  • Quality time with my dog
  • Music and anime
  • Researching new products
  • Video games and storytelling
My process

How I work

From understanding the problem to shipping with confidence, here's the framework I follow to build products that hold up under real-world use.

  1. 1

    Understand the problem first

Gather user insights, stakeholder context, and data signals to clearly define the problem worth solving, before committing to a direction. I align teams around a shared understanding of the opportunity and its business impact.

  2. 2

    Research & frame the strategy

Competitive analysis, market research, and user interviews inform the product strategy. I frame the problem tightly, define success metrics, and build the roadmap that connects user needs to business outcomes, combining PM rigour with the design lens that catches what specs can miss.

  3. 3

    Design, prototype & validate

I translate strategy into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes, then test with real users. My design fluency means I partner with designers as a collaborator, not a bottleneck, and catch UX issues before they reach engineering.

  4. 4

Build, QA & ship with confidence

I lead cross-functional execution through structured QA, UAT, and clear sign-off criteria. Nothing ships until it meets the quality bar, and I stay in the detail through triage, regression testing, and post-launch monitoring to ensure it holds up.
